VSSN is able to keep the cost of volunteering to a minimum as we are not aiming to make a profit, we use all of its income for conducting programs, maintaining office and giving donations. The program fee will cover your main expenses while you are working as a volunteer. VSSN is committed to promote responsible volunteering by deploying overseas volunteers for community development and using volunteer’s maximum fund for the host families and host institutions. We also find ourselves involved emotionally in many projects where children are concerned and we try to make up any shortfall in funds to ensure their needs are addressed. Program fee includes:- The program fee for participants covers airport pick up, placement arrangement, food and accommodation in the placements, sight seeing, trainings, administration and regular support during the program. Nepali language/culture lessons, as well as transportation when going to and from placements, communication and airport drop off are also covered. Food /accommodation - 22%, Transportation/ trainings/ regular support - 20%, Administration - 15%, Program promotion - 18%, Donation - 12%, Child sponsorship - 8%, Saving 5%.
